City & Regional Fuels Capel Senior Open was a great success this past weekend at Capel Golf Club.
The Golf Club would like to thank City & Regional Fuels for their ongoing support and for continuing to "Power the South-West".
The weekend was a festival for family golf, as the event ran in parallel to the RetraVision Capel Junior Open, with many golfers playing with their family and friends, whilst making new friendships out on the links that was magnificently set up by Capel's excellent superintendent, Max Suckling, and his team. Thank-you to them and to our volunteers and staff for your assistance in making this a great family weekend.
Paul Dwyer (Melville Glades) playing with his father and Capel Golf member, Robin Dwyer, won and is the 2023 City & Regional Capel Senior Open champion. Likewise Capel Golf Club member, Joe Kowal, took out the overall Nett prize. His nephew also played in the event. Braedon Law. who finished runner-up in the Junior event, came a close second in the Senior Open, losing by a shot to Paul Dwyer.
