Thursday 31 August - The Optus Greenkeeper's Revenge was a true test of golf for the 120 golfers that played in the Mixed 2 Ball Ambrose.
The course was set up by our Naturally Friendly greenkeeper team, led by Max Suckling, who had set up a challenging yet fun examination. Many players were scratching their heads on how to putt to a hole in toilet seat or defended by a golf cart tyre, or some laughing and celebrating a magnificant 250m tee shot whilst seated in a chair... well done to everyone that made the day a great success and another fun event that the members look forward to every year at Capel Golf Club.
Pieter and Corli van Rensburg from Optus and Max Suckling presented the awards and the various novelty awards to the winners.
